DataPocket (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a file management application designed to help users organize images, videos, audio files, compressed archives, and other files stored on their device. DataPocket can calculate device storage usage and allow users to delete unnecessary files to free up space. All processing occurs locally on the user’s device, and we do not collect, store, or transmit personal data unless explicitly stated in this policy.
1. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for overseeing privacy-related matters:
- Name: Daniel Morgan

You may contact our DPO with any questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy.
2. Third-Party Services
Although DataPocket does not collect or upload personal data from your device, we may integrate with third-party platforms for analytics, attribution, and performance monitoring. These platforms may process limited technical information such as device identifiers, app version, crash logs, or attribution data.
- Attribution Platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust) — used solely to understand app installs and traffic sources.
- Analytics Platforms (e.g., Firebase Analytics) — used for performance metrics, app usage trends, and crash diagnostics.
- Firebase Services (e.g., Crashlytics, Remote Config) — used to improve app stability and tailor features.
No file content, personal documents, photos, videos, or storage data are transmitted to these platforms. Only device-level technical data may be processed under their respective privacy policies.
3. User Rights
Even though DataPocket processes all core functionality offline and does not collect personal data, we still respect your privacy rights under laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations.
3.1 Right to Opt Out of Sharing or Selling Personal Data
We do not share or sell personal data. If any third-party partner processes device-level data, you may opt out by:
- Using opt-out controls within the app (if available).
- Contacting us at mohammadabuseada77@gmail.com.
- Using platform-level privacy settings (iOS/Android).
- Following opt-out mechanisms provided by third-party services such as Firebase or attribution platforms.
3.2 Data Retention
DataPocket does not store personal data on external servers. Any information generated or processed locally remains only on your device. Third-party services may retain technical data only for as long as necessary for operational and legal purposes, in accordance with their policies.
3.3 Right to Access Personal Data
You have the right to request access to personal data processed by third-party platforms associated with DataPocket. To initiate an access request, contact our DPO at mohammadabuseada77@gmail.com.
3.4 Right to Correct Inaccurate or Incomplete Data
If any third-party partner has incorrect or incomplete information about you, you may request correction. We will assist you in communicating with the relevant processor.
3.5 Right to Know Whether Data Is Shared
DataPocket does not share user-generated content or personal files. If any technical data is shared with third-party services for analytics or attribution, we can provide a full list upon request.
3.6 Right to Know Whether Data Is Sold
DataPocket does not sell your personal data. If future changes occur, we will notify you and allow you to opt out.
3.7 Right to Request Deletion of Personal Data
Any data stored locally on your device can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or using in-app deletion tools. If a third-party provider holds analytics or attribution-related data about you, you may request deletion by contacting our DPO.
3.8 Right to File a Complaint
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may submit a complaint to your local data protection authority, such as an EU supervisory authority.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where data processing occurs through third-party platforms, it may rely on:
- User Consent — When you grant permission for analytics or diagnostics.
- Legitimate Interests — To improve app performance, diagnose crashes, and understand app installation patterns.
- Compliance with Law — To meet regulatory or legal obligations when required.
DataPocket uses the minimum data necessary for these purposes and ensures partners comply with relevant privacy regulations.
5. Security Measures
All core processing (file scanning, storage analysis, file deletion) is performed locally and never transmitted. Technical data handled by third-party services is secured in accordance with their industry-standard security practices.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated within the app or through an updated version of this document.
